North Oaks welcomes residents into independent living so they can fully enjoy the available amenities and activities. And if a resident’s health needs change, our continuing care retirement community provides a full continuum of care — including assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation — within Autumn Ridge Health Center. We do not accept nonresidents into higher levels of care. This way, we can ensure our current residents have access to the support they need, when they need it. With the benefit of a LifeCare® contract, residents can easily move through the levels of care with little change to their monthly fee.

Cynthia supports the executive director and supervises the concierge services provided to North Oaks residences. She takes the lead for the business office and IT functions. She also provides administrative services to the North Oaks Resident Committee. The administrative functions of North Oaks are facilitated with her talent.
Adam is new to Life Care Services and has over 20 years of accounting and management experience in the real estate field. He understands the complexity and details of North Oaks Life Plan Community residency agreements and is available to meet with residents to answer their financially related questions about North Oaks. Adam is supported by a sophisticated financial team at Life Care Services to assure the financial stability and strength of the community.
Cindy has been with North Oaks since 2010. She has been in the senior living industry for over 22 years. She and her staff offer prospective residents a wealth of knowledge regarding senior housing options in the Greater Baltimore area. Cindy views her responsibility as helping prospective residents and their advisers learn and understand their options so they can select a Life Plan Community that offers both an enjoyable lifestyle and comfortable financial fit.
Libby is new to North Oaks, most recently she served as the Community Resources Coordinator at an area continuing care community. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and holds a master’s degree in health care administration. Her passion is assisting residents in finding new and creative ways to spend their time.
Nate joined North Oaks in fall 2010. He trained at the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute and now has more than 17 years of culinary experience. He served as an executive sous chef at leading fine hotels in Baltimore for over 10 years. He brings a refreshing finesse of flavors to the dining experience for residents at North Oaks. Working with his culinary staff, the menus that he creates reflect a wide range of choice and tastes.
Chris joined North Oaks in 2008. He is responsible for all the systems that provide a comfortable and safe environment for North Oaks residents. He is also responsible for the maintenance of all residences inside and out so they function flawlessly. He also oversees community areas and grounds and assures they are immaculately maintained.
Jackie has been with North Oaks since 2008. Her experience in the hotel and hospital industries includes director of housekeeping and environmental services with a host of well-known companies locally and internationally. North Oaks residents enjoy weekly housekeeping and flat laundry services which, under Jackie’s direction, are done expertly and responsively to residents’ wishes.
Bryant has been a nursing home administrator for over 20 years. As the administrator of Autumn Ridge, his role is to ensure the highest quality of care for residents who reside in assisted living and skilled nursing, whether temporarily or permanently. His responsibilities include the daily oversight of the Autumn Ridge team and meeting with residents and their families. He is committed to delivering superior services and care.
Amy is dedicated to caring for people. As the director of nursing services of Autumn Ridge since 2014, her responsibility is to ensure the services provided comply with the highest standards of quality care and that Autumn Ridge residents benefit from the training and guidance she provides her nursing staff. She brings with her 35 years of multifaceted nursing experience, including acute, sub-acute and long-term care settings.
Diane has been with North Oaks since it opened 30 years ago and serves as the knowledgeable “go-to” person for assisting North Oaks residents with access to the appropriate levels of medical service offered at North Oaks or through the residents’ other health care providers. She ensures that North Oaks residents who go elsewhere for specialty care or hospitalization return to Autumn Ridge (North Oaks’ Health Center) or their private residence at North Oaks with ease.
Barbara lives in Pikesville and recently joined the team in 2019. She has worked in the senior living industry for 18 years and has extensive knowledge of a variety of senior living options. Barbara believes in a holistic view of aging and strives to continually improve the client experience.
Lisa joined North Oaks in March 2011. Her role is to facilitate the smooth transition from a private home to North Oaks. She expertly coordinates the preparation of residences at North Oaks in conjunction with our plant operations and housekeeping teams. She is also your go-to person for all things related to your move to North Oaks.
Donna has more than 30 years of human resource and management experience. Donna is responsible for assuring that qualified and responsive staff are recruited and trained for the services they provide residents of North Oaks. Creating a supportive and high expectation environment for staff assures that resident expectations will be met.
Clint Altman is our full-time fitness manager at North Oaks through our partnership with The National Institute for Fitness and Sport. Clint graduated from Slippery Rock University with a master’s degree in exercise and wellness promotion. He is also a certified exercise physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine. As a dedicated fitness professional with over 13 years of experience working in a wide range of fitness and wellness settings, Clint finds great satisfaction in instructing classes, performing assessments, and developing individualized exercise programs tailored to the unique needs and interests of his participants. His favorite part about working at North Oaks is engaging with the residents, learning about their life experiences, and helping them overcome obstacles to staying active. In his spare time, Clint enjoys running, reading, and following his Pittsburgh sports teams.
